A few months ago, there was a tumblr that had done a old man yaoi tournament. It was fun! And then they announced an old woman yuri tournament, and I was so hyped, sending them so many ships, some canon ones (Jacks/Jessamine from Snapdragon) or only in my mind (Dust-Wife/Agnes from Nettle and Bone), some real people ships (Tove Jannson/Tuulikki Pietilä) or f/nb ships (Eda Clawthorne/Raine Whispers from The Owl House) because they were allowed, some multishipping (Gertrude Robinson/Agnes Montague, Gertrude Robinson/Mary Keay, Gertrude Robinson/Emma Harvey from The Magnus Archives) and probably others, I regret a bit not keeping the list.

And then the owner of the comm got a job and didn't find the time to do the tournament, which I understand, but I was also personally disappointed. ^^

So, what are your fave old women yuri ships? (If you wonder if it's old enough, I put the cut as 45, for personal reasons :D )

That's too bad about the tournament not going forward. :(

The majority of my ships involving older women tend to be cross-gen, but in terms of ones where all parties qualify:

• Harry Potter was a good fandom for me on this front. I loved pretty much any mix of McGonagall, Hooch, Sprout, Pomfrey, Grubbly-Plank and Amelia Bones.

• Nanny Ogg/Granny Weatherwax from Discworld

• Kaya/Lin from Avatar: Legend of Korra

• They're right on the line for all three qualifying in season 2, I think, so Cath/Dulcie/Eddie from Deadloch.

• Jocelyn/Maggie from Broadchurch.

J'ai pas beaucoup de fave "Old Women Yuri" mais notamment j'ai:
- Kya/Lin, Suyin/Kya dans Legend of Korra.
- Plutôt fan de Sarafina/Sarabi dans Le Roi Lion (pendant/post le règne de Scar, surtout).
- Julieta/Pepa dans Encanto (Ship incestueux mais je m'en fiche).

Blanking on any favorites of mine right now (or maybe I should just consume more media with older women main characters...) but I will use this time to promote "Hanamonogatari / Blossom Story!" It's a yuri manga between two elderly women. After Hanayo's husband, who had discouraged her from makeup, dies, she decides to try it again. She walks into a cosmetics store and falls in love at first sight with a beautiful woman who was also there, Yoshiko!

Too bad there tournament didn't happen, but fun question! All the old woman f/f ships I could think of off the top of my head have been mentioned in this thread already I think, but I shall give it some more thought. We need more old woman yuri!!
