1. Lupin III (I discovered it, watched so much of it)
2. Trigun (my friends who got into Stampede encouraged me to reread the manga and rewatch the initial show, also fic)
3. Nevermore (my current obsession, discovered quite late)
4. Our flag means death (I didn't hate the end of s2 ^^)
5. The Locked Tomb (We only had a short story but it was good and I wanted more! Also I wrote fic)

1. Discord (public and private fannish conversations)
2. AO3 (reading, exchanges)
3. Tumblr (pretty art, some nice meta sometimes, fannish conversations here too for people who are not on discord)
4. DW (ficcing memes and bingo cards)
5. Manga club at high school

The top 5 things you did to contribute to fandom in 2023 were:
1. Writing fics
2. Cheerleading writing friends and brainstorm with them
3. Managing obscur_echange, my French exchange comm.
4. Commenting
5. Canon recs

Your top 5 most appreciated fandom contributions were:
1. For better, for fucking worse (Izzy/Ed NC-17 fake marriage fic, only the last chapter is from this fic)
2. Lazarus the Apostate (Trigun, Vash/Wolfwood, resurrection fic but not fix-it)
3. A bitter aftertaste (Lupin III, my Lupin Zero UST fic)
4. Give all the heart (Lupin III, Jigen/Lupin sex pollen smut, cowritten with a friend)
5. Lady Frigg's Quest (Norse myth, Frigg+Balder, not a lot of readers but very appreciated by the few who were here)

- That is always such an awesome feeling. That's one of my favorite things about writing in obscure/small fandoms, is that the readers might be few and far between, but their appreciation and responses are always so sweet and heartwarming.

Very cool lists! Looks like you've had a very busy fandom life this past year. And that's awesome that you run a comm on here, I really appreciate everyone on here who keep the exchange comms running. <3

Thank you! And yeah, it doesn't always work in small fandoms, but it's cool when it does!

I also manage a reading bingo but it's a bit less fannish :-)

Yes, same for Alecto! It was meant to be in 2023 first! And we still don't have a cover or a date!

Oh yeah, I was both pleased and frustrated back when the announcement for Alecto was changed to an announcement of Nona, and the update from trilogy to four books. I'm happy with how it turned out though, because wrapping up all the plot threads and foreshadowing in only three books would have been a huge challenge.
