My newest big thing is Nevermore, I have already posted about it this month
So let's look at most recent (and less big) things.
Last week I read Shakespeare's Troilus and Cressida. It's neither my fave Shakespeare play nor my fave Trojan war play, but the potential for m/m shipping is off the charts.
Look at this exchange between Aeneas and Diomedes (the last two lines in particular drive me mad)

Date: 2024-01-17 06:00 pm (UTC)It just dawned on me, that I saw Troilus and Cressida when I was very young, it starred Alan Rickman as Achilles! Brilliant production. But I was so obsessed with Achilles and Patroclus canoodling that I didn't notice Aeneas and Diomedes🤦♀️

Date: 2024-01-17 06:05 pm (UTC)This version is not kind to Achilles and Patroclus, but it's one of the version where they can be actually funny. I can't believe there's comments about Patroclus doing funny impersonations of Agamemnon and Nestor to make Achilles laugh and we don't get to see it.
