The Vampires


Here is a link to Youtube with the whole series in only one file.

It starts with a young exorcist and her... girlfriend? friend who'd like to be her girlfriend? It's not clear at the beginning, exploring a boat where they heard there were vampires.

It has not very high production values, but the overplaying and the cheap special effects, in the beginning, give it some kind of camp charm. Then we get to the vampires's backstories (in different historical time periods in China), and I'm moved very first degree.

And of course, there's femslash sexual tension, pining (and more) all over, and the girls are pretty.

Warnings for hard themes (including suicide) and very bittersweet ending.
