The novelty usually makes him happy for a few days, so Izzy should be moderately glad about it and think about something else.
It's tentacles, on his left arm, the one he doesn't show everyone.
Izzy has seen it, sometimes. He's Edward's first mate. He has this. Closeness that burns.
And he still wants more; he obsessively thinks about sucking on this tattoo, even more than other parts of Edward's salty skin, because of the dream of being sucked back into the abyss, of drowning, and never surfacing again.
