1. The Magnus Archives

4. Doctor Who (surprisingly! still late on the show though)

What are your top five fandom spaces in terms of time spent? (AO3, Twitter, Tumblr, Reddit, Dreamwidth, and others)
1. Discord (public and private fannish conversations)
2. Tumblr (pretty art, some nice meta sometimes, fannish conversations here too for people who are not on discord)
3. AO3 (reading, exchanges)
4. LJ/DW (both together because I crosspost, ficcing memes and bingo cards)
5. Manga club at high school totally counts as a fandom space even if it's IRL

What are the top five ways you interacted in these fandoms? (Reading fanfic, writing, commenting, watching videos, chatting with friends, making art, or anything else you can think of).
1. Chatting with friends (about canon and about writing fanfics)
2. Writing fanfics
3. Reading fanfic
4. Swooning over pretty art, and, when it's on a platform when it's possible, reblogging it
5. Squeeing about my faves (which counts as recs) though memes

What are the top five things you did to contribute to fandom in terms of time? Did you write? Comment? Send positive energy into the universe? Create art?
1. Writing fics
2. Cheerleading writing friends and brainstorm with them
3. Managing obscur_echange, a French exchange comm.
4. Betaing my sister and helping her with fanart hosting
5. Commenting

What things did you create that took the most time?
1. The sorted Gros Tas Mou (Big Woggly Pile) of unsent requests for my French exchange
2. Don't sway your eyes away (writer's block from hell)
3. Some Haikyuu!! fic I didn't start to post yet because I'm not sure I can finish it.
4. The still-unfinished-and-unposted Michiko to Hatchin fic I started in September
5. On a silver platter

"squeeing at faves" was also a big time of the chatting with friends part. But with the memes, I can talk about them even if no one I know heard about it ^^

what we do in the shadows is so fun and occasionally so weird. also squeeing totally counts as engagement! i mean, it's a very important part of the fannish experience - if we're not squeeing over something can we really call ourselves fans? right?

Yeah! Squeeing is good, squeeing can even be summoned in our heart and stop us from ever getting bored.

Manga club absolutely counts as fannish activity. Not everything we do has to be online.

Yeah! Anime conventions would count too, but the past years were not easy for this.

No, they weren't. The virtual things were a good stop-gap, in some ways, but it's different than the convention experience with all the people right there with you.
