Fandom snowflake - Day 8

flo_neljaIn your own space, celebrate a personal win from the past year: it can be a list of fanworks you're especially proud of, a gift of your time to the community, a quality or skill you cultivated in yourself, something you generally feel went well.
One of the options for this was, rec list of my own fic, and you know what? It's what I'm feeling the most comfortable to do right now :-D
* In English
The Perks of being a Leitner assistant (The Magnus Archives, OC + a bit of Salesa) : I wanted to make the fix of horror and dark office comedy TMA is good for, but on the side of the Leitner assistants this one, and I feel like I managed. Also there's femslash, since I write the fic, I do what I want :-D
Weaving a story (Shôjo Kakumei Utena, Utena/Anthy) : They are one of these ships where "post-canon where they find together again" is a genre, and rightly so. Also, fairy tales! So appropriate! I'm glad I was able to use The devil's daughter, it's one of my faves.
Don't sway your eyes away (Hikaru no Go, Hikaru/Akira) : Like the Utena one, it answers a big craving I've been looking for fics for, i.e. fics where Hikaru tells Akira the truth about Sai. Also, I've put in shipping (for me) and drama (because it's them) and I'm happy about it.
The world ends and cats are just fine (The Magnus Archives, the Admiral) : I wanted to explore s5!Admiral, and avatar cats in general. Dark humor again!
The Time Trap (Doctor Who, Three/Delgado!Master) : Sometimes I just love my fics because I put my favourite tropes in it, and the trope of two people dating but their relation has to be erased as the world is put in a less dark timeline? My kind of tragedy. I can't get tough of it and I'm writing it myself if I have to.

De l'autre côté du monde (Haikyuu!!, Hinata/Kenma) : J'ai écrit cette fic pour l'anniversaire de ma soeur, qui aime ce ship mais a du mal à croire que ça pourrait marcher, et cela compte comme une victoire, parce que ça lui a plu (aussi, moi, écrire du fluff ? seulement l'amour fraternel peut m'y pousser ^^)
Pentimento (Le portrait de Dorian Gray, tout le monde -> Dorian) : Ha ha, ce que je préfère dans la fic, c'est l'idée de base, qui n'est pas de moi, qui est un excellent prompt : et si le portrait était à double sens et que le modifier pouvait affecter Dorian ? Mais j'aime aussi le fait que ça m'a permis de développer les sentiments de Basil pour Dorian de façon moins statique que je l'aurais fait moi-même.
Les mystères de Noël (What we do in the Shadows (tv), gen de groupe avec un peu de Jenna->Nadja et Nandor/Guillermo) : Le thème était les différences culturelles sur le façons de fêter Noël, qui est quelque chose que j'adore, et j'ai du découvrir de chouettes légendes grecques. J'espère écrire plus dans ce fandom !
I often like better my longest fics. I spent more time on them. I'm emotionally closer ^^ It doesn't mean they're the best, but yeah! Just my faves!
