Also - isn't "mème" in French "same"? Is that the word you use for meme? Meme in English is such a weird word, but it was the pronunciation that actually made me think about this - in English, the way we pronounce it would be translated to "mime" in French, I think (though I wouldn't expect that it would ever be used in French, it was just a 'huh' on pronunciation).

In French, "même" is "same" and "mème" in "meme", same pronunciation but not the same word.

The original science of memes makes a parallel with "gene", and as it's "gène" in French, "meme" became "mème".

It's a Fullmetal Alchemist drabble. I love that's it about Scar's brother and pre-Homonculus Lust, a ship that nobody writes. I like how I used the religious metaphors and parallels, and... I need a third thing the "I loved you once" nostalgia always gets me.
