Length: Three volumes of manga.
Happy ending or not? I haven't read volume 3 yet, but it sounds like it will have one.
Who is the wlw? At least the two main characters, Alice and Hanako. For a few other ones, I'm still waiting for confirmation.
Is there other representation? Biracial romance, yeah!
Warnings? Suicidal thoughts, a pit of period-typical homophobia.
What about the plot? Victorian England. Hanako, a young Japanese girl, came all the way to England to meet her favourite author, Victor Frank, but finds all the doors closed. When she's out of money, a young rich lady, Alice, touched by her circumstances, offers her a place as her maid to make ends meet. Hanako doesn't know that Alice is the one writing her favourite books under a man's penname...
How good it is? It's very pretty in a cute way. I don't know if the plot is good, but it has so many tropes I like (culture shock! identity porn! dramatic reveals! books!) and I ship the girls so much, I'm eating it with a spoon.
