Unrequited Affections Letter

flo_neljaHello writer! I'm glad you're participating in this exchange! I have some prompts if you like them, but everything is of course optional! I just love them.
What I love:
* I love pining, so I'd like better the PoV of the person in love ("A") most of the time, especially in secret love situations.
* Focus on the supernatural elements of the worldbuilding.
* Skilled characters
* Admiration / Hero worship / Actual worship turning into love
* Ethical dilemmas (love vs ethics, hurting the person you love by telling the truth vs lying to them, etc)
* Pining manifests as submissive tendancies.
Do Not Want:
* All kinds of AUs except canon divergence. Even in canon divergence, I'd rather characters keep their canon personality and most of their history
* Mention of any character being in love/lust of another only for their looks.
* Mentions of pregnancy.
* Any non-con apocalyptic or post-apocalyptic universe. Focus on mass death in general.
* You know, no character death in general unless canon or requested.
* Character bashing. Of course when a character is canonically manipulative or violent or any kind of evil you can write them this way, but don't turn them into caricatures, and have a bit of empathy if the fic badly hurts them.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Andrew Wells wants Warren Mears
* B has passed on
* B plays on A's pining for personal gain
* Incompatible sexualities
- Andrew is a disaster who won't stop making the worse freudian slips about wanting Warren. Warren is so heteronormative he doesn't even notice.
- When they play tabletop roleplaying games, Andrew plays pretty women. He pretends that he likes pretty women (and probably he does, a bit), but he actually uses them to romance Warren's male characters.
- Warren knows very well that Andrew likes him, and uses it to make him agree with him in the Troika decisions even when he wouldn't have otherwise.
- Warren has died, and Andrew has mourned him so badly that it's very easy for the First to manipulate him with Warren's guise, even if Andrew kind of knows it's all false.
Caleb wants the First
* B is incapable of love (e.g. robot or alien)
* In Denial
- Caleb loves to offer his god new "clothes", and by this, he means new dead girls. He chooses them pretty, but of course, they're the wicked ones, not him.
- The erotic aspect of religious rapture (evil religious rapture even)
Clover - Clamp
A wants Ran
* A murders the hypotenuse
* B knows about A's feelings
* A hurts B because they love them
* Obsessive Love
* A watches B's relationship with another character from the outside
Prompts:
- After Ran left, A is stalking Ran and is jealous as hell, also, very curious about seeing him growing older, while he doesn't.
- A keeps his promise: Ran loved Gingetsu more than he loves him, so he will kill Gingetsu (or at least try)
- After A killed Gingetsu, he really doesn't understand why Ran won't take him back.

Prompts: (the prompts for these two ships are really easy to mix if you feel so inclined)
- When Elias met Jon, he promised himself that he would make him a Beholding avatar whatever the cost. Even that it would be easy, him having just the right personality. He thought it would be enough to bind them solidly together. It wasn't.
- Elias tries to put into Jon's mind all the intensity of his feelings for him. Jon is not impressed (especially by the most sexual part, but not impressed in general). Maybe he gets a new power and puts into his mind back how much he doesn't care.
- Elias was always good as seducing people, if only because he always know what gets them hot. He never tried to seduce an asexual person before, even less had actual feelings for him.
- Elias has underestimated Martin, probably, but seeing that Jon was able to actually love Martin back makes him green with jealousy. He's still stalking them. All the time. Not that he ever stopped watching Jon.
- Elias is jealous of Jon's closeness to the Eye, most intense than him when Jon has only been serving a few years. He doesn't know which one he's jealous of. (Both.)
- Elias loves being watched by his God every second of every hour. But sometimes, he wishes the Eye would actually care. He can go to extreme measures to try to make him care.
Michael Shelley wants Gertrude Robinson
* Pining for superior/inferior
* B plays on A's pining for personal gain
* B knows about A's feelings
* A thinks B sees them as family
Prompts:
- Gertrude knows very well about Michael Shelley's feelings and engineers the right situations until she can use him.
- Michael Shelley is softly pining for Gertrude and has an hilariously (no, actually it's sad) wrong idea about what kind of woman she is.
- Michael Shelley's last thoughts/Michael's first thoughts are both about Gertrude, as the Spiral eats him.
Marvel 616
Bennet du Paris wants Erik Magnus Lehnsherr
* Pining for superior/inferior
* A giving B emotional support while pining
* In Denial
* Obsessive Love
Prompts:
- As Exodus doesn't feel sexual attraction towards Magneto, he's totally oblivious about his romantic feelings towards him and it's hard to explain why he's so jealous of people Magneto has dated (he rationalizes it)
- Courtly love: doing things for him, doing things for mutantkind, hoping one day it will be enough.
- More classic pining kept very secret because it's a proof of weakness/immorality to not only feel admiration like he should.
Illyana Rasputin wants Kitty Pryde
* B tries and fails to love A
* A giving B emotional support while pining
* A watches B's relationship with another character from the outside
Prompts:
- Illyana feels guilty about feeling jealous of her brother, but she very much is (can be when Kitty and Piotr are dating, or just after he broke up with her)
- Illyana tries not to ask anything of Kitty, and to be only supportive, but she's only bubbling her darker desires in Limbo, where they taunt her.
Warlock wants Douglas Ramsey
* B has passed on
* A learns to accept B won't return their feelings
* Cultural differences lead to missed signals
* B tries and fails to love A
Prompts:
- Love (romantic or elsewhere) doesn't exist on Warlock's planet. Warlock tries to understand the nuances of what he feels towards Doug, and maybe what Doug feels towards him.
- More of Warlock's creepy-cute alien mourning like in episode 64! Go wild!
- When Doug comes back controlled by Selene, Warlock can't hurt him, even if it mean Doug will rip out his heart, physically and metaphorically.
Xavin wants Karolina Dean
* Past romantic relationship between A and B
* B knows about A's feelings
* Feelings used to be mutual
* A watches B's relationship with another character from the outside
Prompts:
- Xavin comes back from space and Karolina is with Nico. That's the prompt. Feel free to play on the anger (if Nico didn't hesitate about who she loved for so much, they wouldn't be here), the feeling of unfairness, the sadness of course. I think that Xavin could be verbally aggressive, but they wouldn't try and hurt Nico.
Mo dao zu shi
Wen Ning wants Wei Wuxian
* Pining for superior/inferior
* A giving B emotional support while pining
* In Denial
* A learns to accept B won't return their feelings
* A watches B's relationship with another character from the outside
Prompts:
- Wen Ning feels comflicted about betraying his clan just for a few nice words told to him once, but he can't stop himself.
- Wei Wuxian feels just a bit guilty because as a fierce corpse, Wen Ning is totally subject to his will, and Wen Ning doesn't mins as muc as he should.
- Being a fierce corpse is quite painful and Wei Wuxian experiments with some musics to make the pain go away. Some of them are actually quite pleasurable and Wen Ning is very flustered about it (but can't explain why)
- Wen Ning was a prisoner for more than ten years and he really thought he'd never see Wei Wuxian again. He thought about him a lot, though.
- Wen Ning is stalking Wei Wuxian and Lang Wangji's romance quite a bit, before deciding he'd better get out.
Trigun
Legato Bluesummers wants Millions Knives
* Pining for superior/inferior
* B hates A
* B plays on A's pining for personal gain
* B knows about A's feelings
* Obsessive Love
Prompts:
* Knives hates humans. He learnt that Legato will accept any physical torture from him, and that he can hurt him more efficiently just by telling him how he dislikes Legato / how he likes Vash.
* Legato would do anything to be useful to Knives, even if he knows his feelings will stay unrequited always. Knives can accept this.
* Legato things about Knives always, he is ashamed of his fantasies (you can make them sexual, you can make them romantic) but it won't stop him.
What I love:
