Snowflake challenge, day 15

Talk about an unexpected joyous moment you experienced last year.

I learned this year that in 2019, while I was taking a break for Marvel Comics, Claremont and Sienkiewick did a new one-shot for New Mutants called New Mutants: War Children. More research showed that 1) it was still available even if I was afraid to have missed it, and 2) it was exactly the kind of self-referential nostalgia that I wanted (even if it's been criticized for being more of the same thing, I don't care! It's what I want, no shock reveals!)

So yeah, good fandom moment!
