The case is over, a killer has been caught, and a cop and survivor can go their separate ways. That’s the idea, at least. In practice, DI Lenny Ellis keeps receiving texts about his jade plant, opening the door for Chinese takeaway, and surrendering to being a middle-aged cliché.
"When I'm with you…" by tellmeyoufool (BL Metamorphosis, Komeda Yuu/Souma, PG)
Yuu sits up so fast she almost drops her phone and barely manages to avoid knocking over her water bottle.
“You’re a genius, Souma-chin, I love you. Thank you, goodnight.” She hangs up without a thought and she already has her tablet pen in her hand when her brain catches up with her.
What did she just tell her editor…?
Face aflame, she brushes all thoughts of embarrassment aside, and adds a new layer in CSP.
