Femslash February : Day 4
Feb. 4th, 2022 08:04 am4) Have you already started a canon just because you knew there would be femslash shipping opportunities?
Yes. When I was young, fandoms with canon femslash were super-rare, heavy subtext was not that common either, and I sometimes read a story that was not my style at all just for this. Like, Reiko Shimizu's Kaguya hime, Kiriko Nananan's Blue. Hey, I started Bleach because I had hopes for the femslash opportunities!
Right now, it's less a story that's not my style at all. It's more where the summary seems interesting, it gets on a very long list of things I should watch one day, but then there's femslash! And it gets on top of the list faster.
It was the case for Person of Interest, for example. And often, I give a chance to a yuri manga where the basic plot seems nice but not exceptional, because it's yuri.
And for femslash february, last year, I watched lots of f/f movies just to celebrate :D
